For the 2018 Summer Season the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum wanted to show their location in relation to the bay, surrounding areas and the Atlantic Ocean. With an area of 15 ft. wide and 25 ft. high and needing a super clear image of the Chesapeake Bay Region, it was decided to UV print to 24 in. square wooden tiles to make up the needed area. In total, Print On Carpet would produce 104 tiles having to cut some to make up the 15’ by 25’ area. After printing the ½” thick tongue and groove fiber board wood tiles. Print on carpet applied a water based protective over-laminate to give the UV printed tiles extra shoe/boot protection. Handled with care this flooring solution should last for years to come.
