Dye-Sublimation Printing: vibrant color, long lasting quality
The Dramatic Difference of Dye-Sublimated Printed Carpets
Our team has spent years perfecting a process that creates incredibly rich looking, colorful carpets that last. This process is called Dye-Sublimation Printing. We can print 10 ft. wide by almost any length.
What is Dye-Sublimation Printing?
During this unique process, the ink is applied directly to the material at a temperature of 400 degrees with intense pressure. The ink then becomes part of the carpet. The finished piece is lush with the entire spectrum of colors, even pastels, and is brighter and more detailed than ever thought possible. Even black, which is almost impossible to create using traditional solvent methods, can be produced in the very richest of deepest dark. The dye-sublimation process allows us to match the colors that you desire, so your logo can come to life on a carpet or entrance rug.
Benefits of Dye Sublimated Printing vs. Solvent Ink Printing
The method of producing custom printed carpets using solvent or UV ink leads to finished pieces that chip and crack over time. The colors also tend to be lackluster, almost muddy in appearance. The heavy ink coverage can often scratch when rolled. Not so with Dye-Sublimated Carpets. Since the ink is part of the material, the carpet can be machine-washed, dried, rolled, ironed, and steamed repeatedly without worry of fading.
Time is Money
By using our process, many have discovered that the turn-around time for their projects can be compressed considerably, making our carpets a quality and cost effective choice.
