The challenge presented to Print On Carpet was to create a fully immersive transformation of the top floor of the AMC Imax Theater in Lincoln Square. Six 8 ft. x 8 ft. SEG frame systems with custom dye-sub printed SEG fabric visuals were produced using varying grayscale images of NYC printed to the fabric. Several window decals were printed to look like the New York City skyline and lastly, an 81 ft. x 12 ft. carpet was printed in 3 pieces and made to look like you were walking the rope between two huge NYC skyscrapers. In addition at the finish, a 12 ft. x 8 ft. step and repeat was created for the attendees to use for photo ops. The SEG framing systems were all rented and for the event a 6 person POC installation team set up all the graphics and a 4 person POC team took them all down after the event.
