The challenge was to make a 16 oz. 8 foot by 10 ft. carpet that was dye-sublimated printed in full color with different solid colors in the four quadrants of the carpet and then cut the carpet along the solid colors into four different die-cut 4 ft. by 5 ft. sections that could be used as a stand-alone piece or could be combined together for a team-building exercise.

The dye-sublimated printing of the 16 ounce carpet was actually the easier part of the job. It was the cutting of the individual pieces so that everything lined up from piece to piece and when put together any two pieces lined up correctly or when all four came together that the alignment was correct. The area rug pieces were to be used for a Pharmaceutical Meeting held in Clearwater, FL in February when everyone up north struggled with the cold weather and snow.
