ESPN, the global sports television network, contacted Enhance a Colour (EaC) to produce an original outdoor flooring solution for the set of ESPN’s College GameDay national broadcast.
For the approximately 400 sq. ft. TV filming set, ESPN wanted a subtle carpet with an “outdoor” look and feel that would be both durable and easily transportable to different broadcast events.
EaC dye-sub printed a realistic “grouted” faux-brick and tile area rug that lent itself to the outdoor setting, and finished it with matching “grout” edging. Produced in four sections, the carpet came together to form a 14 ft. h x 28 ft. w complete flooring solution.
